Totnes Dog Training & Behaviour
Modern, kind and effective dog training and behaviour consultations in South Devon
What I Offer You and Your Dogs
One-to-one dog training and owner coaching
I will teach you how to train your dog, and set you both up to succeed.
These sessions focus on fun, reward-based methods to both train your dog and build your bond.
£35 for an hour long one-to-one session in a private training field in Dartington.
£45 for an hour long one-to-one session in your own home.
Advice, support and training for anxious, fearful or over-reactive dogs. In most cases this will involve an initial plan for managing the situation, followed by a clear step-by-step process to modify the behaviour as necessary.
I work through vet referral, and I may pass on severe cases to specialist colleagues.
£140 for a package which includes an initial home assessment, a written report, a follow up home visit and email support.
Nathaniel Holmes MSc
I am a qualified, certified and insured dog trainer and behaviour counsellor working in the South Devon area. I also work at RSPCA Little Valley as their Animal Behaviourist.
I have been working as a dog trainer for over five years, and have been studying canine behaviour for most of that time. In 2019 I completed a Master's Degree in Animal Behaviour from the University of Exeter. I am a full Trainer member of INTODogs and a Certified Animal Trainer with ICAN. I am a provisional member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC), which means having gained the relevant academic qualifications, I am gaining the practical experience necessary for full membership.
I believe in the principle of "first, do no harm", therefore I will never knowingly do anything to cause an animal fear, pain or distress.
